King’s Vision Statement:

Students, Staff, and Parents of King Middle School are dedicated to relevant and collaborative learning at the highest scholarly level ensuring ethics, innovation, and global citizenship.

Introduction and Pledge:

Poly club for Thursday has been cancelled.

Attention 8th graders: Want to take a trip of lifetime with your friends? Register today for the Washington DC trip. The deadline to register for the Washington DC trip has been extended! If you would like more information please see Ms. Gisbert in C-2 or visit the King website.

Please remember that there is NO FOOD in the back at any time.  All food must be eaten in the lunch area.  Please take care of your trash and finish eating before you go out to the back.

There is no running to lunch.  This is very dangerous.  We are not going to run out of food and, if the lines are long when you get there, go sit and visit with your friends first, then get lunch when the lines go down.  Running to lunch is unacceptable and dangerous.

Please be on time to your classes.  You have plenty of time to get to class.  We will be conducting more tardy sweeps, so get to class on time and you will have nothing to worry about.  If you are late, you will receive lunch detention.

Seasons Greeting, Lions.  In keeping with the spirit of giving Mrs. Esposito's science class is doing an amazing fundraiser to raise money to donate funds towards the purchase of a water pump to a 3rd world village.  Bringing water to a village is the gift of life.  You may donate any change to Mrs. Esposito's classroom or during lunch at the table with the large water bottle and a student volunteer.  Donate change to make a change.  Go Lions!

Hey Lions! NJHS will be selling Candy Canes Grams at lunch for $1.  Send your friends a Candy Cane Gram to help get them in the holiday spirit and show them how much you care about them! Nothing says "you're a great friend" like a Candy Cane Gram! "Attention Lions:

The Yearbook Staff wants to include some of the amazing activities that you are involved in outside of your school day.  These can include any non-school sports, family vacations, time spent with friends, and so on that have taken place this school year.  All photos (one per student) may be submitted through email to Ms. Myers and must be in pdf format as an attachment.  The deadline to submit a photo is Friday January 19th.  Questions, see Ms. Myers in C-1.  Don't miss out!"

The Safari Part Trip that was cancelled Friday will be rescheduled to Friday, January 12, 2018.
