King Clubs

The following are a list of clubs (school-sponsored organizations) that meet on campus.  Most clubs are year-round, and meet during lunch in the room of the teacher advisor (unless otherwise stated).  Reminders for club meetings are announced the day of in the morning announcements and printed monthly on the Student Activities calendar.  Interested students should see the club’s teacher advisor for information and qualifications on joining a club.



Arts & Crafts Club

Run by a parent volunteer.  Listen to the morning announcements for the next meeting. 


Art and Film Club

Tuesday and Thursday (6/7th grade lunch) in Room G-5

Computer Club

Crochet Club

Meets first Wednesday at 6/7th lunch in Room K-3

We accept a range of students into this club.  Some students are very experienced while others are just learning.  If you’re interested in crocheting, knitting, or sewing, or want to have some time to work on your crafty projects, come join us!

Green Team Club

Meets daily during lunch at recycling carts

Club meetings - last Friday of the month - Room F-3

For students who are interested in keeping our campus clean and help protect our environment.  Students will help oversee the Zero Waste program here at King and help serve as Green Ambassadors for district events.

German Club

In preparation for exchange students that visit Oceanside every year, the German club meets to familiarize themselves with German customs and traditions, learn some conventional German, and socialize in a meaningful environment geared toward cultural understanding.

Pokemon Club

Meets every other Wednesday during lunch in Room G-9

It’s the new trend that’s taken King by storm!

Polynesian Club

Surf Club

If you enjoy catching waves as much as we do, come join us for Surf Club.  It’s a great way to meet other students who share your interests!  Who knows, you may even find someone new to paddle out with!

Theater Club:

If you’re a student who loves to sing, act, and dance, come join the Theater club!  Our goal is to put on a play for the entire school every year.  Even if you don’t want to take center stage, students who are interested in play production are still encouraged to join us.  There’s a role for everyone!

Do you have an idea for a club?  All you need is a group of interested students, a teacher who’s up for being the advisor, and something you’re all excited about doing!  Your teacher advisor can pick up a Club Application form from the ASB advisor.
